Why the work is being done
We want to help people working in the charity sector to connect with their peers in an informal and accessible way
Problem to solve
- People working in digital within the charity sector often feel isolated or lonely and want to run their ideas, projects or ways of working by others doing similar things to them.
- Face to face networking can be daunting and not hugely accessible for everyone depending on where they're based or their personal circumstances.
Who are the users and what do they need to do
Anyone working within the charity sector with an interest in or working on digital projects or services.
They need to sign up here https://wearecast.org.uk/for-nonprofits/coffee-connections/ and after that they'll be matched randomly with another charity peer every two months, via email. The onus is on the participants to arrange these zoom calls within the two month window.
